My name is Megan Johns but most people call me Max. I am 23 years old and I am in my third year of my BA in Fine Arts and Visual Arts History degree. My hobbies include painting, horse riding and playing the violin, which I started playing at age seven.

I love working with preschool children and my goal is to become a professional artist and to someday open a Fine Arts school for young children so that they can start learning about art from a young age as I did. I started painting when I was three years old and from my youth I knew my passion was making art.

I love experimenting with and combining different forms of painting such as digital drawing and collaging and pouring acrylics.I have collaborated on a few mural projects around Bloemfontein in the past year hosted by Mimosa and Oliewenhuis which I enjoyed immensely and I hope I can take part in such projects again. With my art I hope to brighten the world and to deepen people’s appreciation for art.
